Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using resOS ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Use License

resOS grants you a personal, non-transferable, and non-exclusive right to use the software provided to you as part of the Services. This license is for the sole purpose of enabling you to use and enjoy the benefit of the Services.

3. Service Description

resOS provides restaurant management software including but not limited to:

  • Table booking and reservation management
  • Staff scheduling and time tracking
  • Menu management and display
  • Kitchen order management
  • Analytics and reporting
  • Payment processing services

4. Payment Terms

For paid services, payment is due monthly in advance. We accept various payment methods including credit cards and Norwegian payment methods (Vipps, bank transfer). All amounts are in Norwegian Kroner (NOK) unless otherwise stated.

Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice. VAT and other applicable taxes will be added to the prices.

5. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with Norwegian privacy laws and GDPR. Your data is stored securely and is never sold to third parties. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Not interfere with or disrupt the service

7. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible. We are not liable for any loss due to service unavailability.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Norwegian law, resOS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately. We will provide you with a copy of your data upon request.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Oslo, Norway.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
